Dr. Yaman Tokat’s passion is to help each of his patients return effectively to a normal life. He believes in building a strong doctor–patient relationship based on trust and shared expectations. For Dr. Tokat, it is deeply meaningful that every such relationship is profoundly rewarding. He is a lifelong student in the fascinating world of medicine and takes great pleasure in sharing his knowledge and experience about ongoing scientific advances with his patients and colleagues.
After graduating with honors from Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Yaman Tokat completed his General Surgery residency and academic career at the same university. He received extensive training at numerous medical centers both in Turkey and abroad. Some of the institutions where he has worked are listed below:

Prof. Dr. Tokat received his Associate Professorship and Professorship titles from Ege University. He has established and contributed to the establishment of numerous liver transplant centers in Turkey and around the world. Prof. Dr. Tokat has also pioneered many firsts in liver transplantation in our country.
Prof. Dr. Yaman Tokat currently sees his patients at his private practice in Fulya, Istanbul.
